I have been working on setting up this blog and have failed to write in it.

But isn't it pretty! Both pictures were taken by me. Actually I think my husband took the yellow flower picture. We were both shooting tons of pictures at the time and it's hard to remember who took what. We were visiting relatives in Newton County Arkansas and were inspired to take nature pics by the beauty around us and by the art of Don Nelms. He has a gallery outside of Jasper Ar, I think its actually in Mt Sherman. You can see some of his work at nelmsgallery.com. Of course it's not the same as going to his gallery, which is a restored farm house with a wraparound porch and sits on the top of a mountain, and seeing his pics, which are printed on canvas and amazing in person.

Any way off to scrapbooking night and tommorrow it's the pumpkin patch and gluten free cooking.
