I have had a lot going on so blogging was a back burner item. But to give an overview....
The only vehicle we own that fits all three of us broke down. As in the engine seized up and we would have to replace the entire engine which would cost more than the car is even worth. So we are in the car market.
I hurt my back and had to make a quick visit to the doctor who gave me some lovely pills and told me to absolutely NOT pick up, push or pull anything. This is extremely hard when you have a 3 year old and a house to keep. She also wants me to get and MRI but I am putting that off for now till the future is more secure (see above).
We visited my brother in Kansas City, saw my Aunt and Uncle and enjoyed a low key Thanksgiving. The only time we went to any kind of store was Saturday to take princess to see Santa Clause. I can officially say I participated in the Buy Nothing day after Thanksgiving. Course that was due to needing to save every penny (see the above) than choosing too.
PS if my writing is a sloppy mess it's due to the muscle relaxers and pain killers.
I am working on goals and changes for next year to help us become more self sufficient. So stay tuned...

Argghhhh!!!!! I am so sorry about your back and vehicle. I am trying to save money to do a roof replacement and some plumbing issues this next year. Hang in there! I hope there will be good news coming your way soon! -tonia
I'm so sorry you hurt your back! That is the worst kind of pain!!
Plus that really sucks about the car. Our car is going to quit on us at any time. We keep hoping to not buy another car for a long time.
