Sorry for my long absence. I could lie and tell you I have been so busy with life I didn't have time to blog, or make up some awesome project I have worked on, or I could bore you with the truth that the weak light at this time of year makes it nearly impossible to get anything done except eating half my weight in peanut butter cake and watching Austin-like movies over and over. (The peanut butter cake was good too.) But I will not bore you.
In fact I'm not sure what to to talk about. I have finished off a new apron but in my infnite wisdom decided the pattern needed "tweaking". It will now wrap around my body twice and when you put your head trought the neck strap you have to be carefull not to rip off your ears. I am debating if I should scrap the whole thing or rework it. Next time I'll stick with the pattern. Maybe the patern makers are pattern makers for a reason huh?
Or I could tell you about my score at the Goodwill of a Charlie and Lola book, a Nature Hiking book, a new pattern for aprons, 3 snap up western shirts for my uncle, and two reading books for myself. Oh, guess I just did tell you about my finds.
We are headed to Dallas for a vacation. So it might be another week before I write. I'll think about ya'll as I'm enjoying eighty degree weather.

Crud. I just left you a semi long winded message but it errored out for some reason. I am very glad you are back amongst the blogging! You are entered in the drawing (twice). Peanut butter cake sounds really good. Have a great time in Dallas. Firefly and Serenity are on my netflix list. I need to finish Buffy and Angel and get caught up on Dr Who. Yikes, it sounds like I am addicted. Well, it has been a bloody long, dark Winter hasn't it?
