House Renewal

I'm in the midst of a house renewal. I call it a renewal instead of remodel because we're not doing very much construction. Mostly it's paint. Wonderful, beautiful paint that can change ugly into character. Right? Please tell me that's right.

We're changing our upstairs from storage into our master bedroom. Then our old room is getting a Fairy Princess WITH POLKA DOTS, MOMMY! repaint. To become Hubby's den...No just kidding, to be Princess' bedroom. Then her old bedroom which is very small will be a play room. And ultimately I will get my house back! No more toys sitting in the living room, or family room, or kitchen, or bathroom. Then my new grown up living room will get a fresh paint and some new homemade pillows.

I was hoping to have all this done by April 18Th for Princess' birthday party. Another monkey wrench?, We have just put out feelers for a Standard Schnauzer dog. Being a rarer breed especially for the Midwest we thought it would take months if not a year to get one. But we have a 9 month old puppy with our name on it waiting for us. So now we're really on a time crunch cause these toys have got to be put up before we bring him home.

So busy, busy, busy. But it's good.
