I canned 5 quarts of apple pie filling and 2 1/2 quarts of applesauce today. Do you know how much apples it takes to make applesauce? A TON! It was sixteen big apples that I cooked down and all I got was 2 1/2 quarts of applesauce. That's it.
There is a story behind the canning. But I am tired tonight so stay tuned for tommorrows entry.
